Job Description
Advance Career, on behalf of our client, an International Travel and Hospitality organization with offices in Limassol, is looking to recruit an Accountant;
Responsibilities:
Daily Accounting Updates: Assist the finance department by updating the company’s accounting records on a daily basis, including posting invoices and other financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Accounts Receivable & Invoicing: Manage the accounts receivable process, including issuing invoices, tracking payments, and ensuring that outstanding balances are properly controlled and followed up.
VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and deadlines.
Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations of various accounts, ensuring that discrepancies are identified and resolved efficiently.
Creditors Management: Oversee the management of creditors, ensuring timely payments and maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
Bank Payments: Process bank payments, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and efficiently.
Ad-Hoc Tasks: Handle additional tasks as needed, including assisting with month-end closing, financial reporting, and other duties to support the finance team.
Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting & Finance or other relevant field
LCCI Higher or CAT diploma in accounting will be considered an advantage
Fluency in Greek and English Languages
Previous relevant experience
Familiarity with VAT returns and financial reconciliation processes.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience in a similar industry will be considered an advantage
Excellent computer skills
Working hours: Monday – Friday
