Job Description
Advance Career, on behalf of our client, an international well established Corporate Services Organization in Limassol, is seeking to recruit a Client Accountant;
Responsibilities:
Posting of transactions on a daily basis
Preparation of draft accounts
Assisting with the classification and reporting of reportable entities under the FATCA / CRS legislations.
Attending to auditors’ queries and assisting them in completing the companies’ audit.
Attending client meetings and analyzing any queries they may have in relation to their company’s accounting position / tax affairs.
Completion of VAT Returns and other tasks related to the Accounting Department
Communication with clients, professional advisers (e.g. auditors) and local authorities
Monitoring own workload to ensure deadlines are met and highlighting potential delays or
problem areas to the Manager.
Qualifications:
University Degree in Accounting and Finance
Qualified ACCA/ACA or Semi Qualified
At least 3 years of experience in an accounting department dealing with a computerized accounting system with multicurrency transactions in the corporate/fiduciary sector
Working knowledge of MS Office Applications
Very good command of English Language
Experience in completing VAT Returns, Income Tax Returns and other statutory documents related to the Accounting Department
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to take initiative coupled with strong results orientation
