Advance Career Ltd on behalf of our client an established international Payment Solutions services provider, seek to recruit a Head of Compliance AML/Risk Manager to join the team in Limassol:
Responsibilities:
Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance by thoroughly researching and effectively communicating all applicable requirements.
Conducting regular monitoring to maintain adherence to compliance standards at all times.
Continuously reviewing and updating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Central Bank of Cyprus regulations and applicable card scheme rules.
Preparing and submitting compliance reports to the regulatory body and Board of Directors as needed or on an ad hoc basis.
Monitoring compliance of clients and third parties involved in daily operations.
Designing, managing, and enhancing compliance and AML functions.
Ensuring full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations across the organization, including those set by the regulatory body, card schemes, and other applicable entities. Preparing mandatory compliance reports.
Engaging in continuous research and professional development on emerging regulatory and legal issues.
Providing guidance and training to all departments and staff as necessary. Collaborating with internal and external auditors for the completion and submission of all audit reports.
Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of Central Bank of Cyprus directives.
Qualifications:
Holder of Degree in Law or any other relevant field.
Holder of CySEC Advanced Certificate will be considered an advantage.
At least 4-5 years of experience in a previous Compliance role within a Cyprus investment Firm (CIF), Payment Institution (PI) or an Electronic Money Institution (EMI)
Fluent in English is a must.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work as part of a team and manage a small group of people.
