Web Developer – React (Forex) – Athens

Job Description

Advance Career, on behalf of our client, a CySec regulated Forex Organisation with offices in Athens, is looking to recruit a Web Developer – React;

Responsibilities:
Build the user interface (UI) of our web applications.
Ensure that the code and overall application UI components are highly optimized, appealing, and easy to maintain.
Collaborate closely with backend developers and the whole project team as per the requirements of the project.
Research and integrate new web technologies and provide recommendations for emerging trends.

Qualifications:
Proficiency in JavaScript, DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
Experience of using CSS stylesheet languages (SASS) and libraries such as Bootstrap/Foundation.
Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
Experience using RESTful APIs to integrate web applications to server-side systems.
Knowledge of browser testing, debugging, benchmarking and optimization.
Good understanding, awareness of usability, accessibility, cross browser issues.
Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills with both developers and product members.
Proficient in English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Eligible to work in Cyprus.

It will be considered as a plus if you have:
Experience using another popular JavaScript framework such as Angular or Vue.
Experience using Git or any other code versioning tool.
Experience with agile development methodologies.
Experience within the financial markets Industry on a similar IT field.
